Ingredients
  

  • - 14 oz block of extra-firm tofu pressed and cubed
  • - 1 tablespoon olive oil or sesame oil
  • - 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • - 1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot starch
  • - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon paprika optional, for extra flavor
  • - Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • **Press the tofu:**
  • Wrap tofu in paper towels or use a tofu press. Press for 15–30 minutes to remove excess moisture for optimal crispiness.
  • **Cube and season:**
  • Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes. In a bowl, toss with oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Then sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and toss again until evenly coated.
  • **Air fry:**
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place tofu cubes in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 14–16 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden brown and crisp on all sides.
  • **Serve:**
  • Serve hot with dipping sauce, over stir-fried veggies, rice bowls, noodles, or inside wraps. Great with spicy mayo, peanut sauce, or sweet chili sauce.
