  • - Aluminum foil or cast iron skillet
  • - Sharp knife
  • - Baking sheet or disposable aluminum pan

Ingredients
  

  • - 1 block 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
  • - Kosher salt to taste
  • - Coarsely ground black pepper to taste
  • - Optional: BBQ rub taco seasoning, everything but the bagel seasoning, Za'atar, Cajun spice blend

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your smoker to 200-225°F.
  • Chill the cream cheese for 10-15 minutes to maintain its shape.
  • Score the top of the cream cheese with shallow cuts to help flavors absorb.
  • Rub seasoning of choice over the surface of the cream cheese.
  • Place the cream cheese on a baking sheet or in a cast iron skillet.
  • Smoke the cream cheese for 1-2 hours until the exterior turns golden brown and a smoky flavor is evident.
  • Once done, remove from the smoker and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
