Ingredients
  

  • - 2¼ tsp active dry yeast 1 packet
  • - 1¾ cups warm water about 110°F
  • - 1 tsp sugar
  • - 5 tbsp olive oil divided
  • - 1½ tsp salt
  • - 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1½ tsp dried Italian herbs or fresh rosemary/thyme
  • - Flaky sea salt for topping optional

Instructions

  • **Make Dough:** Add 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, and flour. Mix until a shaggy dough forms. Knead for 5–6 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • **First Rise:** Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
  • **Prepare Pan:** Drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil into a 9x13 pan. Place dough into the pan and gently stretch to fit. Let rest for 20–30 minutes.
  • **Infuse Oil:** In a small pan, gently heat 2 tbsp olive oil with minced garlic and herbs over low heat for 2–3 minutes (do not brown). Set aside to cool slightly.
  • **Dimple Dough:** Use your fingertips to press dimples all over the surface of the dough. Drizzle garlic-herb oil over the top, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired.
  • **Bake:** Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 22–25 minutes, until golden and crisp on top.
  • **Cool & Serve:** Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
