- - 1 tablespoon olive oil
- - Salt to taste
- *For the pesto:*
- - 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- - 1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts
- - 1 clove garlic
- - 1/3 cup olive oil
- - Salt and pepper to taste
